+## Definition
+布罗代尔提出的历史时间理论，主张历史存在三个层次的时间：
+1. **地理时间（La longue durée）**：几十年到几百年的长时段——地理环境、生态环境、大型人口趋势、结构性经济变化
+2. **社会时间（Les cycles oder conjunctures）**：十年到五十年的中时段——经济周期、人口波动、社会流动
+3. **事件时间（L'histoire événementielle）**：日常政治事件——战争、条约、人物决策等"表面"历史
+
+核心理念：**表面的快速事件变化之下，深层的缓慢结构往往不变**——历史学家的首要任务是识别和解释这些深层结构。

+## Etymology
+法语 *longue durée* = "漫长的持续时间"（long duration）。布罗代尔用它来强调与当时法国史学主流（事件史、政治史）的断裂。
