Introduction
This document describes the use cases used for UCMDB RUM (Real User Monitoring) testing.
UCMDB APM Monitoring Business Flow
In 24.3 UCMDB implemented a feature named ‘Global Search’ that has CMS UI layout change, this feature is enabled by default that impact 2 of current CMS APM monitoring flows: UCMDB Search View and Report, View map. Update these two with Global Search.
UCMDB UI Login
- browse https://cms_host/ucmdb-browser/ui/home
- Login with admin user
- Success criteria: return 200 (simplified the criteria)
UCMDB Inventory
- Click on ‘ INVENTORY’ in the top
- Success criteria: see Databases card with number >0 (simplified the criteria, remove the drill down that has bad performance)
UCMDB Search View and Report
- In the right top, click search icon
- In the expended search bar, select Reports
- Search ' Cloud Host Migration '
- Success criteria: Cloud Host Migration is shown in the page under DISPLAY LABEL.
UCMDB View map
- Right click on 'Cloud Host Migration' line
- Click on Execute
- Success criteria: On premise is shown in the page
